Motor Skill Activities Objectives

Getting kids to be active is a highly topical issue. The Karibou’s World in Action program meets the needs of parents who are concerned that their children develop at a very early age a taste for physical activities.
Using equipment adapted to different age groups, the program seeks to enhance their motor and social skills as well as give parents the opportunity to directly observe their progress. The program is especially worthwhile in that not all parents have a trampoline or a tunnel at their disposal to see their toddler jump and crawl… in the company of his or her friends!

The three main objectives of the Karibou’s World in Action program are for children to :
  • have fun;
  • develop their motor skills;
  • acquire greater self-esteem.

According to a survey of parents who participated in the program, 93% felt it furthered the development of their child’s motor skills (balancing, walking, jumping, etc.)

Magalie C., Axelle's mom confirms it: "Progresses from week to week were amazing".
